I first set
up an actual wine glass with orange juice in it to make sure I got the right
places for the highlights/shadows as well as the right shape for the ellipses.
And then I created the one drawing with pencil, coloured pencil and grey
markers on the toned grey paper as a concept sketch. I then painted it again
with watercolours on watercolour paper; I added some coloured pencil on top to
finish the painting.
